Concordia College - NY Fall '17 ABSN

Hey ya'll. I just submitted my app last week (on day of deadline) and am complete. Waiting to hear back about interview offer, or lack thereof. This is the only school I applied to because I can get all prereqs done by summer. I have a friend that went to Concordia NY and loved his experience. Anyone else apply or accepted yet? Let's get a 2017 channel going!

By chance, Do you know anything about an writing sample thing along with the interview?

I have been reading other threads back in 2013 and 2014 they talked about the "writing sample" ..

I am not a native speaker so I am nervous about it too...

Hey - I haven't heard anything about a writing sample yet. I got an interview invite on Monday, very excited!!

Hi Yoonsung0506,

I don't believe that they do writing samples anymore. I have read the past threads and it was mentioned that the TEAS Exam is what took place of having to do a writing sample. So I think you should be okay!

When you guys were notified about an interview, what was the medium in which they used to contact you? Did the mail you guys a letter or call you? Just curious.
