Good evening Kimberly, I am wondering a few things BUT not sure how exactly how to ask. I am taking a patient care tech course to try and get into a hospital. Then I would like to also apply to the program at Concordia. Ive read alot of great things about it. I was curious of the tuition cost in total, if working is possible at all while attending, and the structure of the program?
Hi I'm not trying to revive a 2 year old thread but I do have a few questions. I'm interested in applying here but I don't know my chances of getting in. I have a 2.5 cumulative gpa but a 3.8 in the sciences. All nursing entry tests such as HESI and the TEAs have been a breeze. I messed up my first year of college and that resulted in my cumulative gpa being low. My options right now is to boost my gpa so I can meet the minimum in order to apply to most nursing colleges (Molloy / Adelphi / LIU-Brooklyn etc). I've been working (not volunteering) at a hospital for 6 years now, so I have hospital experience. I'm just really in a weird predicament and would love some guidance. Feel free to reply here or pm me. Thank you
is it impossible to work at Concordia and do the accelerated nursing program. Unfortunately this would be the only way I would be able to pay for the full tuition. I would stay on the night tour. Im super determined but Im also a little nervous. I love the area and really like the reviews I'm hearing about the school but I just want to make sure that it is in fact doable.

Be yourself for the interview. Easy to say but honestly its the best advice to give. I remember my first question was 'Why nursing' and it went from there. Generally not a difficult interview because my interviewer was laid back and spoke to me as if I was already in. She asked very few questions and then jumped to how the program was structured and then gave me a tour.
I was fortunate to get a scholarship that covered the program. I suggest for you to do research and apply to multiple scholarships. It will take a lot of time but will be worth it in the end. Good luck!
