Concordia College ABSN 2020

Hi guys, just wanted to see if anyone has applied to/heard back from Concordia (located in New York) for spring 2020 absn. Any info will be helpful!!

Hey! I am finishing up applying for the Fall 2020. From what I know, their admission is rolling so I should hear back soon.

Is anyone attending Concordia's ABSN this upcoming Fall 2020? I just got accepted and would love to link up with anyone else attending or get any feedback from current students!

Hey I am still waiting to hear back if I got in. What were your stats? I’ve spoken to one student that attended and graduated from the program and she said that the program started with about 90 students and graduated with 36 students. She said professors are really tough in the beginning because they know everyone won’t make it. She said a C+ is passing in the program and also that it was very intense. Her best advice to me was to make friends in the program and form a study group to help one another because the best way to pass is to work with your classmates and exchange resources like study guides / notes for example.

I emailed them to check on my application and they called me right after... I would totally recommend calling them! I have been hearing such terrible things from other students about the professors and the college, and how many people dropped out, but I am hoping that if you get a small study group that I will be okay! Let me know when you hear back on Concordia, maybe we can link up before the program starts! @jusjp

Oh WOW! I actually would like to know what they said about the college. I would hate to start and have to drop out later on. Also, who did you call to get an update on your application, an advisor or the admissions office?

Do you have an email or facebook, I can forward you over some of the stuff that I found. I have to make my decision by the end of today or tomorrow so I am stressing ! His title was an Associate Director of Recruitment.

Is this correct? Concordia closed its nursing programs on the west coast. Be careful you guys.
