Concorde requirements???

I just wanted to know if Concorde will need your transcripts if you previously attended college? Thanks!

Specializes in None...YET!.
Me too. :( Hopefully I'll find out more as the program goes on. Concorde is very selective as to what information is released about the college and it's programs. If I find out anything I'll be sure to post it up!!

Thanks!

I was told by Concorde when I inquired about credits transferring that certain colleges acknowledge Concorde's program but they would not tell me which colleges may allow for further education.
They're feeding you a bunch of bull. Concorde's credits do not transfer. Here's the deal.....

Concorde's credits won't transfer, but the actual LVN license will transfer toward any LVN-to-RN bridge program in Texas. With the LVN license issued by the state of Texas, you can take a few prerequisite classes, become accepted into an LVN-to-RN bridge program, and skip the first year of RN school. Angelina College, located in Jasper, is the only RN school in Texas mandating that LVNs must graduate from an NLN-accredited program to gain acceptance into their school.

Thanks for the input. I'm now looking at doing the Excelsior or Tarleton LVN-BSN bridge program.
