hello all, i am a current student at santa ana college, and i am now planning on attending concorde career college in january 2012. i did the math and to finish my general ed requirements, prerequisites, and finish the rn program, in my current circumstances, would take around five years, assuming by some miracle i got into the rn program without having to wait. however, my college closed their program off this year due to the extremely impacted waitlist, so this is highly unlikely. so for me, the decision was easy. fork over the money and get to my career faster, instead of burning time and money and taking much longer.

i say this because i am aware of the high cost and all that, but i still don't have any interest in "sticking it out" at a community college.

i've done extensive research on allnurses.com for private school reviews. i am looking at going to concorde career college in garden grove, ca. my choice was between that college and stanbridge, but concorde has been around much longer, and theres an awful lot more horror stories about stanbridge. but i wanted to know if anybody else had any input about concorde. i have applied already and am going to take the teas soon. anybody got any good or bad experiences about the garden grove campus?????

does anybody know of any colleges with lvn to rn bridges that accept the lvn license you get at concorde?

also, is there anyone planning to attend there in january 2012?!:rolleyes: i would love to meet some of my soon-to-be classmates! i'm so excited to do what i love and be there in a year!!!!!!!!!!!!:heartbeat

p.s. sorry for the essay, my boyfriend always teases me about how ridiculously thorough i explain things:p

i just went for a tour at concorde in garden grove and pacific college in costa mesa. did you start your program at concorde? how do you like it?
