I just found a health care educational program called concord career institute. Have anyone been to that school before? What is the different between their degree and regular CC? I've never consider of going to institute before but they do have what I'm looking for (RN). I would like to find out about them as much as possible, and if anyone could provide that I am so grateful.

I looked into their program for patient care tech, and it was way too expensive. The 6month program for PCT was almost $8000! I thought that was waaaayyy to much money, so I decided to go the Red Cross and pay $400 to get CNA training. They don't have an RN program at the Concorde Institute in my area, so I don't know that much about it. Just expect to pay alot, since it will be a private education. Hope this helps!
I thought so too that it's gonna be pricey. Maybe I'm thinking of steering my wheels away and aiming a different direction to cheaper prices education. It looks like they don't have one in my area either. Thanks for your input

If you research on this site and look into all of these private programs, one thing you will find in common: high cost. Most people find that the schooling will not transfer into a regular school. You will also read experiences about poor teaching. There is a thread on the site now about someone in an LPN program that has poor clinical experiences.
If at all possible, it is always better to finish a program in a comm college or four year college. People usually go the private for profit school route b/c they have the money and do not want to wait to get into a program. Good luck on your choice.
