Hi, does your IELTS still expires in 2 years even though your agency is in the processing stage of employing you to a hospital in the US and working up your visa??

Your IELTS still have a 2 year expiration date but if you have VSC then you are OK for 5 years but will need renewing before VSC is re issued or if the hospital requests it

Do I still need to take another IELTS exam if I will renew my Visa Screen Certificate with the CGFNS?
Thanks.
If your IELTS has expired and you need to renew your VSC then yes you have to retake it and pass. It has to be current for the VSC

Having an employer that is willing to petition you or is in the process of doing so, has no bearing on when anything will expire. English exams, whether TOEFL, IELTS, or even the TOEIC all have two year expiration dates on them as far as immigration goes for any country. Same way that nursing licenses expire.
The VSC is valid for five years, so if you have gotten it while your English exams are valid, they you are all set for the five year period. If and when you need to renew it, you will have to have a current English exam result to produce before CGFNS will be able to renew the Certificate.
Visas are expected to take several years to get, chances are that many will have to renew their VSC before they get a chance to come to the US.
