Complying with CA BON deficient courses

As the title states for the folks that have to take certain courses such as OB, MS or either Psyc, has anyone visited and spoken to any Nursing directors at the approved CA BON Nursing Schools listed on the website?

If so please share us your thoughts on the matter, it would help thousands of Nursing Graduates that received this special requirement that we need to comply with the CA BON before NCLEX examination.

Can i ask how much do i need for the ms and ob deficiency at samuel merritt? Thanks

Try calling Samuel Merritt University and Dominican University of CA both in bay area. i completed my MS and OB in SMU and one friend still taking subjects from Dominican. At this moment, I am still waiting for SMU to send my credentials to the BRN. hope this will help guys. I actually called all the BRN's list before amd these two schools contacted me and offered me the classes. Goodluck to everyone!

Hi i also need to take ms and ob. can i ask how much $ would i need to take those class? And how long does it take to complete? Thanks

Have you tried to call or e-mail the school directly? It's been almost 1 1/2 years since the last comment, the cost may have gone up by now and they can tell you if there's a wait list, probably not as they are one of the more expensive schools.

Haven't tried to contact them yet im still getting some idea about it before contacting a school. Has anyone knows about contra costa college? Do they have long waiting list there?

Again the same thought process applies, by the time, you ask here and others (also trying to get in before their 3 year limitation expires) with more incentives and drive will make the direct connections with the same schools you mention here and then, guess what?

The schools may have had a small wait list or none, only to find others just took over your position and either on top of the list or able to enroll quicker and you're still looking or come to find out the wait list just exploded to several hundreds to be placed.

It's always best to find the school (from the CA BRN approved list), get yourself enrolled, then you can let others know.

Don't forget there are literally several 1,000's upon 1,000's not only from the PH but also from other countries (UK, India, China, Canada, Russia etc) also looking to start their courses.

What's the saying here? If you snooze, you lose.
