Compare/contrast Bon Secour Vs Jtcc

Published

So now I am doing a little shopping and such. It seems as though Jtcc has a every other weekend (Fri, SAt and Sun) class set up. Is this staight instruction? Is it with the Commonwealth on line program? Anyone, please let me know. Also would love to hear about Bon Secour too.

No, just enrolled in my last two prerequisites for the program. Hoping to get into the program by Spring or Summer 2008. If not I will weigh other options, I have to do something quickly.

If you're looking in central Virginia, have you considered J Sargeant Reynolds Community College? They're accepting applications and have a good program with some great instructors. They just changed the admissions process and no longer have a waiting list! Spring 2008 applications are now being accepted!!!!

Specializes in L&D, peds NN, and recently outpatient..

not to be dumb, but what does that mean? They have new classes more often? I reallly appreciate your help!

JSRCC used to put all qualified applicants on a waiting list and work down -- you had to wait about 18 months to begin actual nursing classes. NOW, they accept applications each semester and do not use a waiting list. They start a beginning nursing class (NUR111) each semester -- so they have a class coming up in January and are accepting applications now to fill those spots. They usually take about 60 new students per semester. I hope this helps answer your question - if not, let me know and I'll try to clarify further. Or you can check them out on the web! http://www.reynolds.edu
