Congrats!
And same here. I only got a very brief letter stating acceptance. I keep thinking I will get an email or something with more information, but nothing yet still. I think they are supposed to finalize who is accepted by the end of the month, so hopefully once they do they will send more info.
I know there are a lot of things we have to do before we start so I am anxious to get moving on things like confirming vaccinations and getting CPR trained.
OMG congratulations! That's so exciting ?. And thank you for the tidbit about your points. I'm trying to decide if I should take a&p2, micro, and nutrition at my local college or just take it at CCP to make the transition easier (from Philly and attended CCP pre-2019 but moved 45 minutes away about a year ago).
I've heard some people say that it's super tough to get into, maybe that doesn't apply as much to the post-bacc ASN since the applicant pool is smaller? Id end up with an 8 probably. As you can see, I'm kind of freaking out inside LOL. Also, how do your clinicals and class schedule look? I would like to work part time throughout the program and am wondering if it's a lost cause.
thank you for answering also ?
Thank you!? ccp is pretty good with transferring of credits so honestly I would say wherever it's cheaper to take it.
I also heard it was tough to get into and our class size right now is around 30ish.
the first 3 semesters we have clinical Monday or Tuesday, lecture Wednesday and seminar and lab on Thursday. The last semester we have clincals on Wednesday and Thursday and lecture on Monday with seminar on Tuesday. I worked part time throughout the whole program so it's definitely doable!
You got this!

This is so helpful and I've returned to it multiple times when obsessing over admission! Thank you and congrats again on graduating, you go girl. I'm gearing up to apply and sending in my stuff so send good vibes ? ??. How were your clinical placements? Was it a lot of LTC/SNF or more so hospital unit based?
@zaria bizzell me again. Just thought of this, when did you have to drug test? Was it like immediately after acceptance or in Spring before starting the first semester? ?

Hey all,
I loved coming here when I was searching my nursing programs and looking at others experience in the application process. I have not seen any posts yet for CCPs upcoming accelerated nursing class. So here I am starting a post so people applying or those who have already been accepted can start to meet each other and offer advice.
I just got my acceptance letter and cannot wait to get started! Class of 2023!
