I believe stats is a req for most BSN programs since it's a lot of evidence based research and writing. I know for a fact penn state requires it as a prereq for a foundational nursing class. Oooo that's good to hear about your friend's experience. The Jefferson program cost is giving me heart palpitations though!! What was the schedule like for her? I was honestly going to work during this program since it's 4 days a week. At least a shift or two as a per diem hospital PCT.

------------------------------ is who stated that was okay to do. Stats sucks so bad that it may be worth putting off until someone else (your future employer) pays for it. And I had the same issue! There was no email prior saying "look out for exam registration", it literally looked like junk mail to me. She refused to let me take it that day but called me back 2 hours later saying they can allow me to take it later that day...yet when I took it yesterday they let people register and sit for the exam! Same here with the debt. Would it be Jefferson east falls or the center city campus? I attended the east falls campus, it was a pretty good experience! Cafeteria is beautiful LOL.

Thanks! And OMG, that sounds like the worst. Tbh I had a terrible experience at the testing center earlier this month and left in tears. I've attended CCP before and I'll just say....it's not always great but boy is it cheap LOL ?. For the prereq issues and timing, I'm taking an outstanding prereq (nutrition) in the Spring and ASN admissions agreed to that in writing so there may be time for your math course. Totally understand the frustration, this process is already complicated enough! IDK if maybe this program is still considered newer and they're working out the kinks or what. If you're okay with sharing, where else are you looking? I checking into MCCC and DCCC and both are okay options. I just hate the added curriculum (sociology/psych) and the general consensus that taking those classes while taking nursing classes is impossible. So tempted to say **** it and apply to ABSN programs.

95! You go! That's something to be proud of. Thank you for the resources, honestly that's more than any other post has been able to offer. I also read about the composite score bit so I believe you're right ?. IDK if you saw above but ---------------------------- had good insight regarding the schedule and work/life balance. I found it very helpful as the website is a little brief for my taste. Sending you good vibes and keep us posted on acceptance ??

This is so helpful and I've returned to it multiple times when obsessing over admission! Thank you and congrats again on graduating, you go girl. I'm gearing up to apply and sending in my stuff so send good vibes ? ??. How were your clinical placements? Was it a lot of LTC/SNF or more so hospital unit based?

OMG congratulations! That's so exciting ?. And thank you for the tidbit about your points. I'm trying to decide if I should take a&p2, micro, and nutrition at my local college or just take it at CCP to make the transition easier (from Philly and attended CCP pre-2019 but moved 45 minutes away about a year ago). I've heard some people say that it's super tough to get into, maybe that doesn't apply as much to the post-bacc ASN since the applicant pool is smaller? Id end up with an 8 probably. As you can see, I'm kind of freaking out inside LOL. Also, how do your clinicals and class schedule look? I would like to work part time throughout the program and am wondering if it's a lost cause. thank you for answering also ?
