I would like to know if anybody had any problems with Community College of Denver. The nursing program at CCD is one of the worst schools in the State of Colorado. I would like to start a discussion on the school about the quality of their nursing school. please respond about your stories with CCD.

Why is it so bad?
Well they have incompetent instructors, don't give you proper lab time. overall, it is not very recommended by many students who did try it. Also, most important they have a high failure rate on the State Boards.
Is it really easy to get through the program?

I see that this post is quite old BUT since I am a recent CCD grad, I wanted to give a quick update. In the past, yes it was not the best nursing program but within the last year they have completely renovated the program, including a new dean and making it competetive entry. Nursing instructors were great and I definately learned a lot. Best news of all, my class that graduated in May is at 100% pass rate on the state boards!!!

hi ccd grad,
I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about the schedule of your classes at ccd like what times they start and end. Also, what did you get on the teas. I understand they accept the 35 people with the highest scores and wanted to know what people who apply were scoring. Thanks for you help!
