Hi my name is Andrew and i am curretly and allied health student at CCBC, I hope to god that i get into the nursing prgram at my school this August, but if i dont i know for sure i will get in next year. See at my school you can either take the NLN PAX PN test or get in by your grades (at least 2.5 gpa in Psych,Soci,A&P1,2,HumanG&D,Compisition1) I decided at first to get in through my grades but then i decided i want to take the test cause im impatient and want to get on with my career in nursing, i mean im already 25. So i took the NLN exam and i got a composite score of 112 (does anyone know if that is good or bad and what do schools usually look for in that score) ANyone out there going to or have already been thru the ccbc nursing prog?

Specializes in Case Management.

I did not go there but know people who did. I understand that some of the teachers are hard to get along with and if they don't like you then you don't become an RN but you can become an LPN.

I went to sewickley school of nursing and it was a very good program.

You will probably get clinicals at the medical center beaver. It is a good hospital I liked working there.

Good luck to you.:nurse:

Specializes in Emergency & Trauma/Adult ICU.

I'm a recent RN grad in your area -- have heard mixed things about CCBC, including several complaints about disorganization throughout the program.

Best of luck to you. :)
