Columbia University Masters Direct Entry (MDE) Summer 2025

Hello everyone,

I was accepted into the MDE program last Wed. Have not heard back regarding financial aid yet, I also applied to the PLAN scholarship, however, I'm sure they will send an update soon. In the mean time, I joined the facebook group created, I would love to connect with any students planning to attend Visiting Day, I am from California and I am planning to attend!

Wow end of the month... I called the office today I spoke to the same lady from last time and her demeanor was different. She was frustrated and annoyed last time but today she said "I'm sorry I know" I asked her if Friday is the last day we can expect to hear since it's two weeks and she said I don't know....I'm wondering if there is a definitive date anymore

congratulations to all that were already accepted! And everyone else waiting take heart and stay positive !!

You didn't apply to the DNP program only did you?

No I applied for MDE/dnp midwifery

OK strange they said the end of the month because I know DNP only is usually end of the month. Sorry also if you already answered the question before.

Also frustrating that the email last week said 2 weeks rolling for admissions. So sorry you are still waiting. Hopefully tomorrow! Crossing my fingers for you and everyone still waiting.

No worries at all, I'm just going with the flow honestly. I realized there's not much I can do but just wait so stressing myself out wasn't the best. I appreciate your kind words !! And yes I'm hoping everyone waiting hears good news very soon WE GOT THIS!

Congrats on your acceptance! Have you visited the campus before, or will Visiting Day be your first time seeing it in person?

Today around 7:30, I got the email! I was accepted to the MDE/Midwifery Program! Very excited to get to know everyone. Best of luck for those who have yet to hear back!
