Columbia DNP-FNP Summer 2022

Hi there,

I  creating this thread to connect with other applicants applying to Columbia's BS-DNP FNP program that starts in June. I submitted my application February 10 and I am waiting to hear back! Very excited =).

I hope so, from past threads it seems they release decisions on Fridays. I got worried as my portal is frozen.

I have a good feeling for the end of the week.. of course I have been saying that for 3 weeks now. ?.. so we will see!!  It is definitely painful though.

IDK it's getting ridiculous like I applied in November they should make their decisions in February or at least by March 1st. I planned a vacation I want to renew my contract. I feel stuck like I can't do anything. Plus if you do get in you have like a month to prepare. It's beyond nerve wrecking

I agree.  Waiting so long on the unknown.. then, if accepted, having limited time to prepare.

Tell me about it… I applied October 4th and no news. I wish they would say something as our life is on hold. I cannot commit to anything sadly because I want to see what Columbia decides 

I am praying we get accepted although to be honest I feel it is a long shot for me

You never know!  Each one of us holds incredible value through different experiences and knowledge.  Accepted or not we will become great providers one day, I am just hoping our journey starts this year… specifically by the end of this week.. LOL

I have been browsing the previous threads and keep seeing the third week of march as the average release date. Of course those threads are a mix of the other dnp programs as well so it is hard to tell. As soon as I hear anything I will post on here, hope we all get in together! I am so excited!

Same here I keep reading  past threads which is not helping LOL…. I hope we all get in but I truly hope they don’t drag it beyond this week. They are very well aware of the stress this process brings to students and I hope they will release positive decisions for us all ????
