Adventist University Health Sciences BSN

U.S.A. Colorado

I heard an advertisement for this school on the radio today. http://www.adu.edu/academics/denver-site/nursing

Anyone know anything about it?

Specializes in OB-Gyn/Primary Care/Ambulatory Leadership.

Just glanced it over, and it doesn't have CCNE or NLNAC accreditation. I would not attend any school that wasn't accredited by either of those organizations.

It also has not yet been approved by the Colorado BON.

I can't speak for the Denver campus but the one in Orlando is NLNAC accredited. It is under the name of Florida Hospital of Health Sciences. Sometime this year maybe even last year they became a BSN program so they are not eligible to become CCNE certified yet. I have looked into this program this year but correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Specializes in ICU + Infection Prevention.

Another school? Denver, the entire front range, arguably the state, doesnt have enough clinical placements for existing programs. Yet another no-name school... not what the community (or the students need).
