Collin College Summer 2016 ADN

HEY Folks!!

Just wondering how many of you there are out there who have applied for the accelerated Summer ADN Program at Collin College! I have not seen anything posted on the web and I would love to get in touch with everyone!

So excited!

Yeah, I do not have those honors classes either. However, I have done both of the psychologys that are in the program so I am hoping that will help! Did you put recommendation letters in your application?

I didn't [emoji58] I learned about putting them in too late in the game....

I'm HOPING that A's in all my classes and a 6 on the psb will be enough[emoji27]

So going in 30/34 points....

What about everyone else??

Unfortunately going in with only 26 points. Got all A's in everything including the psyc, english, philosophy courses except for A&P which i got a B. But I did have my professor write me a letter of recommendation from that class, so hopefully that will help! Although they told me when I turned it in that there was no guarantee that the letter would even be taken into consideration.. so we will see! Good luck to everyone!

I lied! Those PSYCH classes are listed under honors! I was getting this application confused with El Centro.

Update! I talked to the dean of nursing tonight at a board meeting, and she said they were hoping to get letters out this week, but it wasn't going to happen. She said hopefully next week or shortly after!

Hi everyone I plan on Applying for the fall, Im currently taking a class at collin my first time do still need to get a transcript from them? Im wondering if I have time since the deadline is the 28th :/

Quick question, what are everyone's points? I was encouraged to apply for summer since it is a fairly new program, and not as many people would be applying, thus, lowering the competion. Thoughts?
