Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for this one yet and decided to create one.

Yeah.

Did you do CNA or get any volunteer activities before applying?

as international students can't work outside

Specializes in pre-nursing.

Do you guys know if classes taken at a different community college (CA) will count for the nursing program? The nursing program consists of classes such as General Psychology, English Composition, Humanities/Fine arts, etc. I have already taken these classes at my cc, would they transfer or do I have to retake them while in the nursing program?

At the end of the list it says "1. No course substitutions," so that is why I am asking.

Yes

I suggest you go see an advisor at Collin College,  I took some of my prerequisites in another. College while in Colin  and transfered my credit. So you check with them first to see if it will transfer

I applied to this program too. I'm coming in with 23.4 points. I just submitted my application today. Super simple.

Did you get in?

Yes I've been accepted into the program. But you need to take into consideration your cohort points average. Some people got in with 22 points and some people didn't. I would just make sure I'm at a 24 to be on the safe side.

Also some people got waitlisted. Also they do deduct points for any repeated courses. So if you took AP1 twice they will deduct points for that. Which is what messed some people up.
