College of the Sequoias (COS) Spring 2022 application

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to College of the Sequoias this Spring. I'm applying with 75 points. Post your points and how many years you've been applying to nursing school. This is my first year.

My friend just got his letter in the mail & he is alternate #18!

If anyone is curious, I applied with 75 points and the paperwork said I was #30 to get accepted. How many do they choose?

I believe there are 40 seats available

So maybe 73-74 points is the cutoff?

That's what I'm thinking also. Which is comparable to 72 pts last time.

My guess is around there too. So I imagine anyone over 71 who didn’t get chosen are going to be alternates

Called my dad today to ask if I got a letter from CoS, had him open it and I was unselected ?. Still got this CC in Tennessee I’m waiting on, then it’s back to the FCC craziness again.

Hoping this school I applied to in Tennessee, they do things differently there. They don’t use TEAS there just ACT/SAT scores and give points for A&P 1 and 2, Micro and Psych, I have 19 points and they said that’s high due to the amount of people who apply with no prerequisites done. 

For whatever reason people in TN are not big on these forums, which sucks because I never been to this school, I don’t know anyone, and it’s over an hour from where I currently am. Wish they had the activity like we do in the Central Valley, I even made a thread for the school and nothing ?
