College of the Sequoias (COS) Spring 2022 application

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to College of the Sequoias this Spring. I'm applying with 75 points. Post your points and how many years you've been applying to nursing school. This is my first year.

I'm not taking my seat due to my pregnancy. DON is giving me Fall 2022 instead. I'm glad someone from waitlist will get bumped in!!

I am praying and hoping I get chosen. I am alternate 14, they have 18 alternates. I emailed Tina today (who is always so helpful) and she said last semester they went through all of their alternates. We don’t know when we would know if we were chosen though. Back to an uneasy stomach LOL! I’m staying optimistic!! I am so ready to be in program. ??

I totally was too. I've been working on prereqs for 6 years slooooowly. I've got to get a house for my kids already.

I was offered a spot (#19) I have already began MJC nursing program this fall so will be declining my seat! Good-luck to you all!

I feel the same way, most people my age/I know from high school are getting houses, getting married, and/or having kids… and here I am living at home still trying to go to school. Granted I do have a full time job and am kind of “refusing” to relocate down south, but with this job, staying single no matter how much I move up I will never OWN property.

I did get in!! It is an amazing program and I am absolutely loving it.

that gives me hope! I’m currently alternate 10 for Spring 2023 and I’m hoping I get in!
