College of the Sequoias (COS) Spring 2022 application

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to College of the Sequoias this Spring. I'm applying with 75 points. Post your points and how many years you've been applying to nursing school. This is my first year.

Hello there! This is my 3rd year applying. Finally finished my associates degree so that should hopefully help my application this time around. I will be applying with 74.2 points.

How many points have you applied with in the past? I'm doing a CNA program in 2 weeks and won't be able to get my license in time to add to my application.

In the past I applied with 69.2 points. That’s okay if you don’t make it this round at least you have more points to look forward to for next round.

Hi there!

This is my first year applying. I applied to Fresno city last semester. I retook my TEAS for higher score and got the exact same score of 86. Super disappointed. I am applying with 71.5 points.
Hoping and wishing we get in ?

Hi there! How long have you been applying to nursing school? 86 is a great score!! I was recently accepted into the rad tech program at fresno city College for fall 2022. If I don't get into nursing, I may just do that.

This is my first year. I am getting my phlebotomy license over Summer so that my points will be higher for next application. I’m not feeling too confident with my score of 71.5.

Mrs. Sweeney (nursing counselor) told me the lowest points accepted last application cycle was 72! So you're right there on edge!! This year semester might be less competitive.

I am trying to stay positive, but it’s not that likely I get chooses. All I can do is hope it is less competitive this semester. I will have 77.5 for the following semester which should work in my favor. We shall see!

I'm applying with 79.1 points and this is my first year applying. I'm feeling pretty hopeful about getting in.

Yeah my friend got in with the same score, so I'm feeling good. No CNA. I got a 94.7 on the TEAS and I have an AS, so that all added up. I was expecting to apply with 72 or 73 pts but my TEAS score really helped out.

79 is pretty good. You will most likely get accepted. I’m already leaning towards not getting in so I am really looking forward to applying next semester with higher points. I am excited for my upcoming phlebotomy course!
I will be applying with 77.5 points.
