Hey guys,

I haven't seen anything posted about the application for Fall 2019 cohort. Deadline was yesterday the 15th. I am just curious to see how everyone feels about their chances and how many points they have. Letters are supposed to be coming late March, early April.

That sounds really good. Thats what im mainly nervous about since im sure theres multiple people with an AA degrees applying. Im not sure if ill get in because of it since i have no experience due to barely being a sophmore.

Well you have more points than me and you did better on the Teas so if 100’s of people are applying, and they do it by points you have just as much of a chance!!

When I talked to the counselor last time she said I should repeat my anatomy and physiology and also get like an 80 plus on Teas to be considered because its getting so competitive.

I also Applied at West Hills program with 87 points and people are saying like high 80s to low 90s is where you need to be at.

I got my denial letter today, wishing everyone the best of luck!! Hoping Westhills is a better shot for me!

Did you apply for the Spring cohort or the Fall cohort? thanks for the info!

I applied for spring, you’re welcome ?

Does anyone know whats the best way to get clinical experience w/o having a certificate for cna or phlebotomy? I was looking to reapply for the spring semester now but want to maximize my points to make sure i get in. Any type of info is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You can volunteer at a hospital for 100 hours and that would give you an extra 5 points.

Would anybody recommend the lvn route?

I got my denial for COS once again. Guess it's not meant to be for me to go there, I'm considering doing the LVN first so I can bridge but I guess I'll still keep trying.

How many points did you apply with?

I got my denial letter from COS today. I did get into Fresno City’s program and have already accepted so I’m glad someone else will have the chance for COS.
