So now that 2019 applicants have found out their results. I wanted to create this to allow anyone who is thinking about applying to CSM nursing school to communicate with one another, asks any question's, or even to share things that may be helpful to someone else.
I would like to congratulate anyone who was accepted into the nursing program. Enjoy your experience and I wish you all the luck!
And also to everyone who was not able to make the cut this time you still put in lots of time, lots of effort, and tried your absolute best. So I applaud you for your hard work!!!!
Next year applicants let's help each other out, do the best we can to succeed, and make the best of our journey!!
Thanks, @SirGerms! When I emailed after the orientation, I was informed I would know my waitlist number by Friday and instead I got an acceptance email. I know she said that 10 applicants declined their offers, so I’m assuming she called at least 10 on the waiting list. Hopefully more people get off the waitlist soon. Good luck!
Hi @SirGerms
I absolutely love CSM. Especially the nursing faculty and professors. They have all been great thus far and I really enjoyed my first year. The first year was challenging yet fun at the same time. Of course, like any other nursing program, it has its challenges and trying times. I don’t come from a medical background and everything was completely new to me, but like I mentioned, the professors are always there to help you if you’re having trouble with anything and you can also count on your classmates to help you as well. Not sure what the plan is for us as 2nd years or for you guys as 1st years due to coronavirus but I’m sure Janis is working hard to get us some form of clinical assignments. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’d love to help. I remember what it was like stepping into the unknown. I’ll leave my Instagram here and then we can exchange info and text if that’s easier. I’m excited to meet all of you and wish you all the best!

Hi @isarey85
I'm not sure if I'm remembering the first and second kits all together but there was things like gauze, transparent dressings, Foley catheter kit, sterile gloves, IV tubing, saline bag, NG tubes, alcohol swabs, syringes, cotton tip applicators. Stuff like that.
In regards to books, I personally prefer physical books but it really just depends on each person. I don't like not having a physical book in my hand but that's just my preference. With the purchase of our first set of books, we got ebook access as well (through Elsevier) so you won't have to actually haul your books everyday unless you are told to actually bring it.
Hope that helps.

CONGRATS @Remaleigh on getting accepted ! I am currently still on the waitlist, and have high hopes on getting in.
If you don't mind me asking, what number were you on the waitlist after the zoom meeting? Thank you.
