Did anyone find out about their wait list number for the ADN-RN program for college of the redwoods? I got my letter and I think I will start fall 2012 assuming they take about 30-45 students. The number from the wait list is the overall number right? not just the number I am with all the new applicants and then they have to add the people that maybe will not start this fall????

Funny, i just joined this group and did a search for redwoods and i got your post. And I actually know the answer. I just got my number too. I called them and it is not the overall number. There are I believe 21 left over from last year so you actually would have to add 21 to your number. Good luck!

Everyone who doesn't get in gets a waitlist number (assuming they had a complete application) If someone who got into the program declines their seat then the next person on the waitlist will get in, so when the Fall 2011 program starts you will get an updated waitlist number and asked if you want to remain on the waitlist. This number will be lower than your original number, you won't get anyone ahead of you on the waitlist. Also, they usually move through the waitlist pretty fast, so if you have even a semi-decent waitlist number then you have a good chance of getting in next time, but make sure you remain on the waitlist.
