Hey all! I am currently applying to CNR Individualized program for Fall 2016. Does anyone know how long it takes to hear a response back from CNR? I'm so excited to find out my results! Anyone else applying?
So I contacted the financial aid office and it turns out they made a mistake on the tuition calculation. For second degree nursing students, we do not get charged the flat rate of $16k per semester. We get charged $753 per credit, plus $450 general fee per semester, plus $75 nursing fee once per year, plus $1000 nursing testing fee only for NUR 217. This is a lot less expensive than I anticipated! It will be around $20k per year rather than the 32k listed on the website. I just thought I would share this info in case this error was made with anyone else.
Hi i financial aid package said less than 10000 per semester. Yes you are right it is less than 20000 yearly. Thank you.
good morning all,
i was hoping by june 1 we would have received some more information about classes for the fall. the website still mostly has information from the previous year and said that for people entering in the fall semester, a health check was required by july 1. if this is the case for this year, i hope they will let us know because it may take a while to get an appointment with a doctor!
does anyone have a good idea about what the schedule will look like for those starting the individualized track? i am trying to figure out things for next year like whether or not i can drive my kids to/from school, etc. clearly i'm getting very antsy about starting!!
thanks!
I spoke with someone in admissions and they said they are trying to get the June (summer) cohort ready to begin and then once they are done all the time and energy will be spent on the Fall. I think that cohort starts at the end of this month so they should be all registered and ready to go. Hopefully we receive something next week.
You can find some course listings for Fall 2016 at the link below.
There is alot to be done by August 1st. I need to get the first aid training. I only have the CPR card at this point. I have to schedule a physical too and see what immunizations I might need. My immunizations are 30+ years old and some of the records have been purged since they are so old!
I got my advisement appointment and clinical placement. I wonder why they are done at different times. Looking forward to getting started. I'm going to head to the uniform store soon. Looks like we'll be wearing white pants, white jacket, and light blue polo shirt. White pants....UGH!! :)
