Hi. I have a bachelor of Science and liberal arts. 3.15

gpa. CNA , i took the teas v exam. 4 recommendation letters. A statement letter. Fingers crossed you will get it. Good luck

I too just received my acceptance for the fall! I'm really excited! The letter only said that I was in. There wasn't a packet or anything with my letter. Any idea when we get that? Do we have an orientation or registration period? Do we need to order our scrubs, etc.

I live in the Bronx so will be commuting from home. I'm so excited! Looking forward to meeting you all!

Congratulations. I received another letter yesterday tellin telling me what i need to send to the school. And if i am planning on taking loan.

Thanks for the reply. What did your letter say that the school needed? I filled out the FAFSA stuff online but wondering if I will get anything since this is a second degree. I'm super excited about becoming a nurse. Less excited about the tuition!

I will let you know when i get home. Thats y seconde degree too so im wondering if they will give me anything

I filled out FAFSA and got the package. It was an award letter telling you what you were approved for in loans, a financial aid form to fill out your information, and a sheet that tells you what you need to complete in order to accept the loans (i.e. online counseling and MPN). I did get approved for loans, but not enough to cover all of the tuition. I called the office to see if they had any suggestions, but they said students usually take out private loans to cover what financial aid doesn't cover. Hope this info helps and hope you guys have better luck with financial aid.

ugh, well at least they are offering some money. it doesn't help that it's a second degree.

i saw the calendar from this school year and it looks like classes don't start til after labor day. i wonder if/when orientation will be. i have a family vacation planned for the end of august. it will be time to start before we know it.

Just wanted to share a little info I got for the fall semester entries. We will be getting an emailed info packet in the next few weeks. Orientation day is 8/25.

I will be in Florida the last two weeks in August so I need to fly back for a night or two to attend orientation! That's not a problem because I don't want to miss anything!
