College of Mount St Joseph MAGELIN- Direct Entry MSN.

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone here has recently done this program or thinking about attending. It is a 15 month program at the College of Mount St Joseph in Cincinnati. I applied and was set to go awhile back, but did not go for many reasons. Here again I am interested. If anyone else is thinking about MSJ or at MSJ, let's talk.

Hi, all. I have just received my acceptance letter for MAGLIN in May 2014. I'd originally applied for the fall start, but after some students dropped, I was able to add on to the summer. I am psyched, yet nervous. I'd love to connect with fellow nursing students in the program. Feel free to send me a message!

I was interested in the program, and was wondering how they select which term you start, do they choose for you or do you specify. I was interested in starting this fall or Jan' 15, do you think there are still spots available, and finally does anyone know how many typically apply.. thanks your your help!!

It's almost time to start =-)

MiHopeFull, I'm not sure how many people apply. Also, you decide your start date

Thanks angelj11, how does the exam for nutrition work, and the other prerequisite exams. I'm an out of state student, would I have to go to-campus to take it?

Hi Mihopeful, I'm not sure about the testing for those exams. I'm coming out of state as well but I took all my classes at schools in my hometown.

Hello, I just got accepted on the May 2014 Magelin Program, I have a question about the grading scale. What is the passing grade because different nursing program have different scales?

Hello, I am also starting in May 2014 and I can't wait. I'm actually from Chicago, IL and can't wait to meet everybody as well.

Does anyone have an idea of how many people are in our class May 2014 cohort? It seems like we are all getting that exciting feeling. Also it will be interesting to see everyone coming from all the different states. I pray everyone has gotten things together as much as possible and that each of you have safe travels in your commutes to Cincinnati, Ohio. May 12 is fast approaching for orientation. See you soon.

So far there are only 10 students are registered.

Wow, only 10 ?!! That's low for a nursing program. How do you know ?

10 people? Wow. Have you guys bought your books yet?

I went last Monday but there were no books available yet.

Did everyone find a place to stay yet?
