College of Mount St Joseph MAGELIN- Direct Entry MSN.

Published

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone here has recently done this program or thinking about attending. It is a 15 month program at the College of Mount St Joseph in Cincinnati. I applied and was set to go awhile back, but did not go for many reasons. Here again I am interested. If anyone else is thinking about MSJ or at MSJ, let's talk.

Thank you so much for giving your views. I dont expect that this Masters program will be easy but I am willing to give it all that I have. What hours are you in school? Do you feel like you have enough time to study? Did you get your books off of financial aid?

Specializes in Emergency Medicine.

Mon-thur it varies each semester.. usually have class 5-8 hrs a day, maybe an hour break between a class, 2 classes per day. I paid for my books out of pocket it was around 500 first semester they are cheaper online than at the bookstore at school. I study all day Fri, Sat, Sun just to keep up, and I always feel behind. Although there are people in my group who work 20-30 hrs a week, and I don't know how they do it..

Working is not an option. I am committing my life to this program for 15 months. Thank you so much. You don't know how helpful you really are. Good luck in your completion of the program. I will pray for us all.

Hey snreid12, I am a second semester student. Are you still looking for a roommate?

I just finished first semester Thur. if anyone has any questions.

Do you know if they're really competitive? This program overall seems perfect for me :) My post bacc and pre reqs are great but my undergrad gpa isn't good because of pretty much anything that could go wrong for someone living across country in school happened :/ . But I'm very positive nowhere but up from here ! :D

Hello Guys! I was accepted to the Fall 2016 Cohort! Is anyone a current student? Any tips on how I can prepare for this program? I really want to succeed. Also, is there anyone going into the Fall 2016 class here?
