College of Mount Saint Vincent Fall 2020

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of applying for the ABSN program at The College Of Mount Saint Vincent for the Fall 2020 semester. Has anyone else applied or attended the program? What can you tell me about it?

CMSV Nursing Medical Clearance Booklet 6.16.2020 (1).pdf

3 documents were sent to us just before the orientation started, so there was no time to go through it before asking questions. I have attached 2 as I don't know why the 3rd is refusing to upload.

Questions about financial aid we had unanswered, they were unable to answer and said we should contact financial aid office directly or attend the webinar on June 7th.

For people who are yet to receive their login details, Barbara is still sending out those details to students and they would let her know that a lot of students are asking for it.

For clinicals, students are not allowed to choose where they want to do their clinicals. Phones are not allowed in the hospitals during clinicals, you can be dropped from the program because of it. They also talked about how to differentiate between a generic class and accelerated class. different locations have codes for clinicals so we must pay attention e.g mount sinai has more than one location in bronx, codes are used to differentiate them.

Lastly, you have to register on castle bridge to take all the required tests the package required for accelerated track costs $120. Flu shots are compulsory no exceptions.

Hi guys, for does of you that have access to CANVAS did you use your student ID and date of birth to sign in?

Hey! No you need the first part of your email (not the mount Saint Vincent part) and your password is your DOB

You need the 6-digit password. And your email example would be Mark Twain, you enter the first letter of your name, your last name and the number given to your email. Example: mtwain20. And password is your 6-digit DOB

Hello, I was just accepted into the generic program and was wondering if anybody here is apart of that program for the fall. I really need to know the tuition per semester for the generic as I have 2 other schools to weight against.
