College of Mount Saint Vincent Fall 2020

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of applying for the ABSN program at The College Of Mount Saint Vincent for the Fall 2020 semester. Has anyone else applied or attended the program? What can you tell me about it?

I just finished and submitted my application a couple days ago!

If you don't mind me asking, what were your stats?

Also, I was looking up accreditation for this program and it says online that their accreditation ends in June 2020. I'm a little worried about that because I'm not too sure how accreditation works, I just don't want to attend a school that isn't accredited for obvious reasons.

3.2 cum and pre req GPA I also have been a pharmacy technician for the past couple years and currently work in a hospital...I was worried about that also honestly, but they should be able to renew it. I also was iffy on them because their NCLEX passing score is a little on the low side compared to other schools. However, my GPA isn’t the best and if I don’t get in anywhere else, I still have that to fall back on. Best of luck to you!

I applied for the Summer program but I needed a recommendation letter to complete my application. After the Summer deadline, I transferred my app to the fall. I then completed it with a recommendation letter and it was submitted. I got accepted into the fall program not too long after I did that. My cum GPA is 3.3 and I took over AnP 1 & 2 and Microbiology last year because they were taken over 5 years ago...Hope that helps

I submitted my application for the Summer of 2020 on Feb 20th. I transferred my app to the Fall semester on April 6th. It was completed and submitted on the 13th and on the 15th I got accepted into the program.

I will be attending COMSV for the fall 2020 accelerated nursing program. If anyone wants to come together as a team to prepare, find cheap books, etc, I'm here. Lets do this yall ?

I will be attending this Fall as well and don't mind coming together. I heard to perform well in Nursing school Team work is very important.

did you get a conditional acceptance pending prereqs or a full on acceptance?
