College of Mainland in Texas City

Has anyone applied for College of Mainland nursing program for Fall 2015?

Yea I am thinking it will be this week as well! I really hope it's before June 1st and not the day of. I want to know already! Praying for us all :)

They changed the classes on the nursing program, everybody go look instead of doing 5 semester they changed it to 4 semester.

I was hoping they would get some contracts at hospitals closer to the city.

I wonder why thy changed it? I guess that means either consecutive semesters making it a shorter program or we get summers off so it's just 2 sets of fall and spring.

I was hoping they would get some contracts at hospitals closer to the city.

They usually try to stay in the general area of the school since they assume that most students live in the area. They will more than likely never do clinicals in the med center especially because they usually do training for BSN students. HCC is the only ADN program that does med center clinicals.

I think their taking summers off so just 2 falls and 2 springs

I wonder if it's flooding there? If so the school may be closed and we won't hear anything today. All the schools in Houston are closed due to the flooding. Has anyone called?

Yea their open today... Stay safe everyone, I had to stay home because of the flooding

Yea I stayed home as well. I'm gonna try to head to work about noon if it gets better. Hopefully we do hear from them today since they're open.

Good morning everyone i hope all is well with this weather. I'm glad to hear there open I was lying in bed wide awake at 4am watching the news thinking they would probably be closed because of the weather. Hopefully we get good news today!
