Any applicants out there for COM Fall 2012?

I thought I had 127 but the new advisor said some of my classes didn't count so I have 122. One of the classes that didn't count, I took with my friend at the same time at the same university, and he gave her the points but said mine didn't count even though I got the same grade as her too. idk... I guess 122 isn't too bad though.

I think 122 will get us in. The old advisor counted all my classes. I am wondering if the new advisor will say differently, now. What class did they not take, if you don't mind me asking.

It was medical terminology. The school I took it at went by BIOL 3309 instead of HPRS 1206. I just find it odd that he gave credit to my friend but not me.

The way the new advisors handle things at COM is terrible. The old advisor was awesome, they shouldn't have let her leave. Thankfully, I only hear good things about COM, the nursing department, and the instructors once you're in the program.

The lady did my EDP but they switched nursing advisors to the guy a week or two ago. I can't wait for letters! I am getting so anxious!

Yes!! very excited really only 9 people wont get in so its a really good chance of getting in! i hqve been watching how many people are taking the TEAS & the only time to take it minday is still open. the new advisor isnt bad, he is still just learning it, he got thrown into it by himself at a bad time since the 2 weeks he has been doing it alone is when everyone applied lol. oh & i have 125 pts. sotge 3 of us are really close!

Well, they have 80 applicants right now, I am sure there will be a few more monday but either way we have a great chance this semester! I am wondering how many applicants will pull out once San Jac sends out letter. Plus, I am sure others have already been accepted to other programs and will decline their acceptance when letters are sent out. I have all my vaccinations in line, and should be getting my hep B results monday. If those come out positive, I will be done with everything except my CPR certification. Do we need a physical, as well?

Yeah we do need a physical but i think they give you the form to get filled out!! there might be 2 or 3 more on monday. do you know when san jacs letters go out?? i did my EDP last monday ( i didnt fail my teas the first time i just wanted to retake it cuz i got 20 pts. on it, but i made tge exact same score lol & i wasnt sure theyd take it cuz it was from utmb) but the advisor told me on mon. that 125 was really good even with the 30 people that still had to take their TEAS last week. so if you have 122 pts. i wouldnt stress for the next 2 weeks because thats only 3 points less.
