Yes I applied.
@Jay14 do you mind sharing stats..mines were GPA 3.3 HESI cumulative 85 and I have a CNA license
No I don’t mind at all. GPA: 3.38
HESI: 93.2
CNA license
Now it’s just to sit and wait for the letters to go out. I’m so nervous!
@Jay14 me too Alvin declined me so I’m praying COM accepts good luck to you
They denied me too. My original HESI score was a 85.6% with a 78 in reading so I knew I wasn’t going to get into Alvin.

Hi,
I am starting my 3rd semester at COM in the Fall. I was sent an email for acceptance email around 6/24/2021 @ 11:29 AM. Good Luck and wishing yall the best. If yall have any questions I will be happy to answer, but my anticipation on waiting was VERY HIGH, with little responses from previous nursing students.
@Nurse.Queen2023 yes if you remember what your stats were? Like your GPA and HESI score? If you don’t mind sharing.. the application closed on 5/27 and they said we should hear back in 1 to 2 weeks. I’m not sure how accurate that is.
@Jay14 did you reapply to Alvin with your new HESI score of 93 for fall 2022?
No I just retook my test Last Wednesday. Their application was already closed so they got the old scores.

HESI 89.20%
GPA 3.4
It takes them a while to update the nursing portal as long as you have everything you should be fine, drug tests once accepted, and any other required documents.
OK thank you sooo much
