what college should I go to in mi, for the lpn to r.n program? theres such a waitlist ...is it worth the waitlist or should I move? And if anyone knows about this nln entrance test please help????????????????

I can't help with what life is like in MI because I'm in CA, or with the exam, but I can speak to moving. I did it, and I don't regret it at all! If I had stayed where I was on the wait lists I was on I would still be waiting. Now I'm about to take boards. If you can move and get in somewhere earlier I think its worth it. I won't lie, its hard. We uprooted our family to do it, but like I said it feel worth it. Its been a wild ride, tons of great experiences in and out of school.

Our area use to have extremely long wait list. Then alot of for profit nursing schools opened up in this area. That impacted the wait list. From the get go, the list isn't as long. And students are being contacted to ask if they wish to start sooner. Because some on the wait list move or attend one of the other schools.

I am on a wait list now. In the mean time I am finishing up my AA degree, since my school is an ADN. After I finish my ADN, I will already have all the qualifications to start my RN-BSN courses.

Thing about wait list programs, is that everyone gets a chance, eventually. The other programs are competitive And each term you will be in competition to get in. Which is a wait list of sorts. If you have an extreamly high GPA and entrance scores, then it shouldn't be an issue for you.

The Nln exam is a little harder and trickier than the nclex in my opinion. Good luck!
