College of the desert 2011

Anyone applied to College of the Desert for Fall 2011? Is this anyone else's 2nd time applying like me?

I applied and didn't get accepted either:( Its so discouraging! This is my first try....

I received my rejection letter 2 weeks ago. This was my first attempt. I live here in the desert and have only attended COD so I thought for sure I would get in, since they give preference to stds with 12 COD units. I have a 3.9 GPA and everything else in place, but that didn't help... Oh well, I'll try again in Aug for Spring 2012!

Omg. Cod must be really hard to get into? That makes me feel worried:(

It's not hard to get in, they only require a 2.5 GPA. You just have to have the luck of the draw. One of my friends got in on her first attempt and another friend has been rejected 3 times in a row. Both are COD students, so the only thing that will improve your chances is to take a few classes there.

I guess your right. The only downer its pretty hard to get into any classes @ COD. I tried to get into some classes for summer school and they were all full:( So my chances are way less than yours...

Congratulations on getting in! I didn't get in at COD this time around, but I just got accepted for Riverside city college's RN program instead which was my first choice :) since I live near Riverside. Congrats again and best wishes in the program!

Hello everyone I plan n applying to all my local programs this fall and spring. Any heads-up would be greatly appreciated.:)

@ amarie14 I applied to RCC and didn't get in, what is your GPA and TEAS score if you don't mind me asking

Anybody apply at COD for Spring 12?? It states on thier website they will have letter out by end of October...are these the provisional acceptance letters or the final? The website states they will invite you to sit for the TEAS if you are provisionally accepted...did they already do that??
