I applied also. correct me if I am wrong but is this a lottery based acceptance or is it a score system? It seems there is not that many students applying to this school. This is my first time applying.
It is lottery based, but they give preference to students that have 12 or more units at College of the desert. I think we'll hear back from them by the end of May.
There aren't many students that reply to COD (from what I have noticed.) That could be a bad/good thing.... where else did you apply?? I live in Temecula so it will be a commute for me. I applied to schools around (north, south, east) with an hour commute. The end of May is so long from now... crossing our fingers for the both of us.
I know, i've posted twice for this school and no students from there ever respond. I applied to RCC, Mt.Jac, San Bernandino Valley, and Mt. SAC. I really hope we both get in too, i hate the waiting around for the acceptance/denial letters

I agree with you no one really responds about COD. I applied too now just waiting:idea:... Good luck to the both of you:)
Thanks E2Nurse, good luck to you too, i hope we can all be there on orientation day. I can't wait either for a response from them as well.
Yes, I hope to see you in orientation also:) Did you apply for both regular and transition?
where do you guys stay? I live in Temecula so it will be a commute for me. Then again anywhere from Temecula will be a commute.
E2NURSE- What is transition? I believe I applied to the regular program.
Perris StudentRN- I applied to Cerritos, Grossmont, COD, Mira Costa and I am waiting for the deadlines for City College, Mt. SAC, and Palomar.
I don't know what I will do if I don't get in this time around. I am also contemplating WEST COAT UNIVERSITY. Any advice or comments about this school is welcome.
I live in Hemet. I don't mind having to drive:) All I want is to get accepted:idea: The transition is LVN to RN program. As for West Coast I actually went there for a couple months but, it was too expensive I had no other choice but to go back to a community college. If you can afford it? I recommend it:up: Great teachers there:)
I can not afford it. I don't think any of the students there can since most require a co-signer for the second loan. Its just crazy what some people would do to get in a nursing program now a days. People including myself, because I am considering it after this year if I don't get in anywhere else and IF they get there WASC accreditation in Sept.
I know people are pretty desperate to become registered nurses. I rem. when I was in the program there in 2009 there were people whom has 124,000 dollar loan to do the lvn to bsn program. That is a home loan....Way too much. I just pray that we all can get accepted into a program:)
