College of the Canyons Spring 2015

Hi everyone! I am starting this thread for anyone that will be applying to the COC spring 2015 semester!

I am so nervous to start applying, and so excited at the same time!

I am curious as to what every ones GPA is that will be applying?

I know a few people that still have not received emails, they were both told that they will all be out within the next few days. So I would assume by the end of today? It would only make sense since the test dates start next week.

Ill be be calling like around 1:30 pm if I don't get anything.

at least I didn't get a rejection email, lol

Dear RN Program Applicant:

We have received your TEAS test results and you are now eligible for selection for the Spring 2015 College of the Canyons RN Program. The selection is scheduled for mid-October and you will receive an email at that time as to whether or not you were selected.

HOLD THE DATE: IF you are selected, you must attend a mandatory orientation scheduled for Friday, October 24, 2014

Thank you for your continued interest in our program.

Called and they said definitely by Monday and to keep checking.

not sure what to think. I hate to be all negative Nancy.

Could it be that because I applied for the CSUN BSN thing it takes longer?

hoping some of you didnt it get either so i can be more positive

So we will know the week prior to that I assume since we need notice for work. How did you do on your teas?

Hopefully you hear good news. I don't know why it takes so long, but I don't think it has anything to do with the coc-csun cohort. Friends of mine, and myself are also trying to do that program.

I got the email. I'm ineligible because I did not include my high school diploma attachment in the application. Which raises the questions why did it accept my application if it was incomplete, and why did it take to so long for me to find out about this. Oh well. My fault for not carefully reading I guess. Weird how that's required considering I've been going to that school for years.

Anyways I replied to the email with a pdf of my HS diploma and it should be fixed since there is a grievance period lasting 'till the 3rd of October.

Time to keep studying for the test!
