Anyone applying to COC Nursing program Fall 2016?

I totally agree! I actually got the lowest score on the language usage section!

Hi guys!!! good job on your teas. Those are pretty good scores :)

Are we supposed to hear from them this week?

I think the emails are sent on April 29. A mandatory meeting will be on May 20 if accepted in the program.

Hahaha so true!!!

Lol....So just to pass the time...

How did you guys become interested in nursing?? :)

I was always interested in nursing but chose to pursue a different major in college. I really became interested after my daughter was born, I had another baby and then decided I was going to do it. I was preparing to go back to school when I found out I was pregnant with my third baby. His pregnancy was very hard and we both almost died. He spent 64 days in the NICU and that was when I knew for sure that nursing was something I wanted to do. I would love to become a labor and delivery nurse and then transition to the NICU. I think it will be beneficial for NICU families to have a nurse that has been in their shoes or at least that is my hope!

@mom that is really sweet and inspiring :) Im glad you and your babies are healthy! Your future patients definatly need you to relate and give them comfort :)

I wish I had some connection like that to nursing....I just like being hands-on and I like that this career is "straight-forward" (by this I don't mean that it is easy...I mean that the goal is clear...get me? lol) Anyway...as cheesy as this sounds as a kid I always liked playing with the "doctor toys" and skittles, m&ms, gummy bears were "pills" (I know creative huh?") I always said I wanted to be a pediatritian, but I as I grew older I liked the idea of being a nurse better.....and I don't have to dress up for work (I dislike business attire haha) Yay for comfy scrubs!! :D
