Hello everyone,
I am hoping to connect with other COC Fall 2022 ADN applicants! Perhaps we can share updates and stats as we go through the selection process for this year's application cycle. We can also use this thread to talk about any other programs we are also applying to as well as help each other out!

Hi there!
I just applied as well! I believe I am applying with 87ish points. I have no idea if that is competitive or not. I bet they are getting a ton of applications! How about you?? It's all so nerve-racking!

Hey!
May I ask how you were able to calculate your score for the overall GPA? I have transcripts from about 4 different schools so I am unsure how to go about calculating that.
But “87ish” points is amazing! I asked what the cut off score for the last application cycle was and they said the average was 74 so you’re at a very comfortable spot!

Oh, wow! Really? Based on the GPA & TEAS averages they had on their main page, I assumed it would have been in the 80s at least. I also had 3 different colleges to calculate my GPA and I used an online GPA calculator such as this one: https://advising.wwu.edu/all-institution-GPA-calculator . Make sure you select if it is quarter or semester units.
Did you take the TEAS yet? I believe we don't send our scores until they ask, right?

Great, thanks for the link!
You are correct, we don’t send the TEAS scores yet until afterwards. They will send you an email asking you to send over your scores! It won’t be until a while from now though.

Is anyone here applying to the LVN to RN bridge that’s supposed to start at COC this Summer? I’m so nervous waiting for my TEAS invitation

No you do not have to retake it. They will ask you for your scores though and you will send them over. We should be receiving emails about that at the end of this month I think. Someone please correct me if I am wrong about that!

I think if its the most recent TEAS (TEAS version 6???) you will not have to, you will need to send them your TEAS transcript when they send out the TEAS invite. If you call the allied health office of COC they can answer these kinds of questions by the way!! I called and they said they had "well over 100" LVN to RN applicants
I hope we get notified soon ? I hope we get good news
any news?
No news! I'm sure it'll be coming closer to the 31st. I was actually accepted to Moorpark so I am not sure that I am going to proceed with COC, but I'll still post here if I hear anything! ?
