Hi everyone! I believe this is the first thread for the Summer 2021 Application Term for Spring 2022 for the COC ADN Program. Please go ahead and share your background, progress with the application, as well as stats so we could all be more informed of where we stand. Additionally, if you have any questions or need clarifications, go ahead and shoot! :)

Thank you guys! For those who didn’t make it this cycle, please be rest assured you’ll have another chance next year when they revamp the TEAS and you can improve your score. Also look into healthcare and volunteer work to really strengthen your application!

I was accepted as an alternate. I guess I’ll plan on Moorpark unless I hear otherwise. Congrats to those of you who got in and keep trying for those of you who didn’t. It’ll happen!

I’m number 8 ?. I know it probs won’t happen but I’m still going to the orientation and keeping my fingers crossed. You will probably get in! See you dec 3rd lolz

You never know! I was an alternate for Moorpark and I got in. They wouldn’t tell us what number we were though. I am on a group chat with the Moorpark students and three of them said they were accepted but sticking with Moorpark. I know COC has 29 alternates. You have a decent chance I think! And I THINK if you don’t get in this semester, you will have a guaranteed spot in the fall. Thats how Moorpark worked anyway. Good luck ? I hope you get in! See you at orientation!

I’m just wondering, how will we be notified if a spot has opened up for an alternate? Will we be getting a phone call or email? Also is it a bad idea  to call and ask if we’ve moved up on the list? ? so much anxiety about whether I’m in or not.
