coding a vented patient

How does one proceed with CPR on a vented patient? Do you let the ventilator do the work still? Does it depend on what mode and settings? Do you crank up the Fi02? Just do compressions?

In my last three worlds, the ACLS code team is activated and run the code while the patients RN stays in the room at the mercy of every one's questions i.e. Last K+, etc.

We pop them off the vent and bag 'em @ 100% FIO2
