Hello Everyone,
I created this thread for students who are applying to Cochran School of Nursing for Spring 2020. ( I'm interested in the evening program).
Has anyone submitted their application? Has anyone taken the kaplan exam? There's an information session on Oct 15th is anyone planning to go?
For those of you who have taken the kaplan exam how was it? What materials did you use to study?
Students who are currently in the program or graduated from this program are welcome to give some tips, suggestions of feedback about the program. Any little info will help.
Thanks everyone
Congratulations to you guys. This was not my year for Cochran. I have more than one degree and I did not take all my pre-requisites at the same school (not all schools could work with my work schedule and the ones that could were too expensive).
Anyway, I called today to check on my application and was told by the receptionist in admissions, "you sent me a lot of stuff." I have the fed ex tracking numbers, my transcripts arrived...they actually had to make 3 attempts for one set of transcripts delivered during normal hours (not lunch time). By the tone in her voice from today, I imagine there was an effort to reject the mail. So the message I took away is the "damned if you do, damned if you don't." Feels like I'm being punished for having a lot of education. Sad that this country has come to this. But, I have to soldier on, take a break and try applying to some other schools. Thanks for all the information and support so far. It was hard applying to nursing schools that are literally across the country from me, it took a lot of dedication and inner strength and I clap for myself on that one.

Don’t give up yet.Talking to the receptionist over the phone is not so helpful at this time.I suggest you go there and make sure everything is okay.I wish you goodluck!

That’s really smart.Good luck to you and everyone else hoping to get their acceptance letter soon!

I applied for the evening program.Got an 84 on the test. However, the online application indicates my high school transcript is missing.I also called to tell them I gave them my transcript. The lady I spoke to said the high school transcript should not display...but can anyone check if they have the same problem?
