Cochran School of Nursing Spring 2020

Hello Everyone,

I created this thread for students who are applying to Cochran School of Nursing for Spring 2020. ( I'm interested in the evening program).

Has anyone submitted their application? Has anyone taken the kaplan exam? There's an information session on Oct 15th is anyone planning to go?

For those of you who have taken the kaplan exam how was it? What materials did you use to study?

Students who are currently in the program or graduated from this program are welcome to give some tips, suggestions of feedback about the program. Any little info will help.

Hey everyone Im also attending the info session in october. Im interested in this program, hopefully it worksfor all of us!!!

This is a stupid question but for the pre reqs the math they would only accept is Algebra correct???

Please click on the link to see all necessary Pre requisites needed..

Math would be considered a general education requirement.. it's not part of the admission criteria.

i'm definitely going.. still trying to figure out what to study for kaplan entrance exam

Hi guys, I just applied, still waiting to receive my transcript. does anyone know if they will let me take the kaplan again? I took it at monte a week ago, got 70 but I would really like to take it again to better my score.

They have to receive your transcripts before giving you a date?.. what was the passing grade at monte?..

Yes. I’m waiting for BMCC my transcript to me, I was told that I have 2 weeks for them to receive my transcript. If they don’t my application will be cancelled. Monte told me to aim for mid 70’s or higher.

Hi. I am probably overthinking this, but am curious if Cochran requires a letter of recommendation. Just seems wierd since most schools require a letter. The application seemed like just giving education history and then putting in credit card info. Just thrown by this and waiting for the other shoe to drop!
