@frnrose to be honest i don't think We can get the hardcover. I believe everything is e text but i guess we will find out during orientation. Did you give in the other forms along with your deposit?

@ immatt did they charge you an additional fee when you paid by credit card?

@selena02 I only gave in the deposit and the student acceptance letter. I didn't give the other forms in yet. Did anyone else get an email about the new date for orientation on January 16th?

That's what I think too, I'll wait for registration day to ask about the e books.

@frnrose thank you. Yes i did get an email about the new orientation date on the 16th. I called the school to find out about our uniforms because it says we need to order them by December 5th and with the change in class schedule I'm not

Sure if we can order them later. I also asked about the books and they look like they are all hard cover but someone from registrar office is going to find out and get back to me.

@selena02 please let me know what they say about the textbooks. Yes, I have to put in my uniform order too. I thought we had until 12/8 to place our order but I guess the sooner the better.

So I'm assuming we will begin classes the day after orientation.

@frnrose. I will definitely keep you guys posted when i hear back from them. You are right the last day is the 8th to order uniforms. Do you know if we need to buy both tops? There's a zippered one and a polo one.

Polo is for Psych Clinicals so I don't think we need it just yet.

Hi guys! Congrats to all of you for getting in!

I'm a current student just finishing up my first year!

For the textbooks the school does require the use of e-books but the main one you guys really only need to buy right now is the Fundamentals book and MAYBE the med surg book but you'll only need that for a few chapters so you can wait until after your first semester to buy it as there are physical copies of all the textbooks available in the library at the school. The most important one to have for the e-book is the fundamentals of nursing book though because there is a practice question aspect to it that proves to be very helpful. Don't worry about buying them right this minute because the school will send out a link to buy the books at a slightly discounted rate through the publisher.

Good luck everyone! I was in your shoes this time last year and I remember all the madness that came with it :)
