Cochran School of nursing Spring 2018

Taking Kaplan exam next week, has anyone else already taken the exam? Applied to the 2018 spring semester.

I initially applied for the evening, but bc I had more than one pending prerequisite class, as well as it possibly being an issue for my acceptance into the program, I had it switched to the day. How about you? How did you ladies find the exam? A lot of what I read on the forums regarding the exam was true!

I have/had the same issue. I wasn't aware I was able to switch from evening to day program.:no: I have finished all my prereqs November 1st. I have had no luck getting in contact with admissions because I wanted to test for the Spring 2018 semester.

@futurern2410 i got in the evening program and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get there since classes end late.

@ nurseboogie00 what do you mean you can change to the day program? So I'm admitted to the evening they allow us to change to day next semester ?

@selena02 No I was restating what the previous poster said. I think she was stating you could have change your application status from evening to day depending if you have prereqs to complete. I might be wrong. I thought about asking if I could do that because I was racing to complete the required courses.

I guess the way I phrased it made it seem that way. I applied for the evening, initially. I didn't get to finish my application that night & saved it. The next day when I looked over the pre reqs (I rushed thru that part initially- mistake & bad habits of me not reading thru everything LOL) I realized I didn't have them all completed (nutrition and developmental psych). I didn't submit the application and switched to the day. @nurseboogie00, LPN @selena02

congrats all who were accepted!!! I am so excited for whats to come i was accepted to the evening program if anyone wants to exchange emails let me know i will be traveling from long island on saturday and manhattan on the weekdays i will be traveling by car because the timing of the classes

So I came to drop off my deposit and my form since I can't next week & no one is answering the door. Has anyone been able to drop things off ?

@futurern2410 I haven't gone. Idk how I feel about sending via mail. I want to make sure my ppw is rcvd. I'm thinking of going next week since this week was probably a bit hectic due to the holiday.

Has anybody else tried going??

I made sure to send mine with tracking info to confirm delivery and looks like they have already charged my CC for the deposit of $500. Of course, I wouldn't recommend you doing that if you are sending a check or money order.

I was able to hand mine in that day. Thank god that's done. When does everyone have planned to go for their BLS certification ?

I did drug screening today and my BLS certification is scheduled for next Wednesday. How about you?
