CNA Training in Sacramento, CA

Published

I'm currently a pre-nursing student, wanting to get my CNA certificate for the experience and extra income.

For those CNAs or CNA students in Sacramento, where are you taking your training at? I know that ARC has classes, but their schedule conflicts with my current school schedule on Tuesdays. Do you know of any nursing homes that offer training?

Thanks!

Hi. I'm not a CNA, but the Office of Adult Education for San Juan Unified School District has CNA training that runs at least a couple of times a year, maybe even more frequently than that. Check it out at the San Juan Unified School District web site (Google it...).

Hello,

I did my CNA/HHA (Certified Nursing Assisant and Home Health Aid) program at the Charles Jones Skills and Business Center on Lemon Hill Avenue and 47th. The program was 7weeks total and cost $500 for everything (state exam, book, uniform, appplication fees and tuition). I really enjoyed it. I took it last summer. You can go online and find the school and their website is very detail. I hope this helps.

My brother did his at 49er ROP in Auburn and he liked it, but other than that, I don't have much to say....good luck! :D
