CNA training in the bronx, mt vernon, yonkers etc... AND westchester cc

Published

Hey i'm currently taking classes at westchester cc, i plan on going into thier rn program but i'll only finish the program 3 years from now, maybe 2 if the nursing classes are available during the summer. My main issue short term is finding an adequite job to hold myself down and my soon to be son. I really want to do a short 5-7 week cna class so that i can just make some decent money on the side while i'm in school. My question is 1. are the clinicals and what not for westchester cc available during the summer, and 2. are there any cheap or free cna training facilities in the bronx, yonkers hell even manhattan. Now when i say cheap i mean under $1000...

I went to Big Apple Training on 241 Street in the Bronx for my EKG?Phlebotomy class. That course was $750 and $120 for the books. I'm pretty sure that the CNA is the same or cheaperThey have a payment plan available . $120 a week for 5 weeks.. I really like the teacher s there

I attended Big Apple Training School in the Bronx and the course is about $1100. ABC training on Fordham Road in the Bronx is much cheaper I think about $900 (had a friend attend this program) and it lasts for 6 weeks as opposed to Big Apple, which lasted 8 weeks. Good Luck!
