  1. Did you hear anything new on all this?
  2. So how's the whole process? You go in to HR 1 week then the next week it's the test and another interview then a 2 week wait to hear if u got the job?
  3. how did you guy like oreintation today?
  4. Hey I'm enrolled in the july class as well, remember to be there tomorrow for oreintation. The state of mind I think you should have going into this program is just to work as hard as you can independently. At the end of the day whether the staff is helpful or not just take it upon yourself to bust your ass in these classes. Considering the fact that you pay 21k, just do your best to knock this thing out the park. Nursing ofcourse is not for everyone but even if it's for you, there is no substitute for hard work. Just take it seriously and you'll be fine...
  5. it really depends on your school i kno wcc will allow you to sit for the cna exam, but the main thing is that your school write something for you saying yada yada yada, so do well ur 1st term n good luck
  6. Hey i'm currently taking classes at westchester cc, i plan on going into thier rn program but i'll only finish the program 3 years from now, maybe 2 if the nursing classes are available during the summer. My main issue short term is finding an adequite job to hold myself down and my soon to be son. I really want to do a short 5-7 week cna class so that i can just make some decent money on the side while i'm in school. My question is 1. are the clinicals and what not for westchester cc available during the summer, and 2. are there any cheap or free cna training facilities in the bronx, yonkers hell even manhattan. Now when i say cheap i mean under $1000...
