CNA/Pre-Nursing Student/Misdemeanor from 2006

I'm a CNA, have been one for 8+ years. Got my license in February 2006.

Had a bad break up with son's dad and ended up getting a malicious injury to personal property charge, thankful its a misdemeanor.

I'm a pre-nursing student. Has anyone had any problems getting into clinicals, NCLEX-PN or with the BON, while having any charges on your record?

Two weeks ago I did the expungment application in my local solicitors office. The clerk said I should be fine with getting it approved since it was 8 years ago and that's the only thing on my record. Now I just have to wait for SLED to approve it.

I just wanted to know my options, if the worst case scenario happened and it wasn't approved!
