CNA North Shore LIJ benefits pay

Published

Hi. I have been a CNA a little over a year at a hospital in long island. I want to work to North Shore LIJ, particulary the Plainview location. Does anyone know what the pay is and if they get any benefits. I can only work work two days a week because I'm still in nursing school.

My current employer offer benefits for those who work 2 days a week. Which is something I really like.

I applied to Plainview a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone know who is the right person to contact at the HR office in New Hyde Park?

I would greatly appreciate your help!

Hi Meimeiy,

I have a question. My situation is very similar to yours. I'm a f/t nursing student and looking for a CNA position to work at 2x/week, preferably with health benefits. If you don't mind, can you please tell me what place you work and/or what other hospitals offer health benefits to their part-time workers? Also, how many hours do they require in order to receive the health benefits? I have a CNA license already, but no relevant work experience. If you prefer, feel free to pm me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
